The Somdejphrasankkharaj Foundation gave scholarships to monks. Mahamakut Buddhist University, Bangkok- Pramahapaithoon ruchimito, deputy rector for information department of Mahamakut Buddhist University revealed that The Somdejphrasankkharaj Foundation in Wat Rajborpitsathitmahasimaram , Bangkok , invited monks and educational institutions on 2 March 2006 to receive the scholarships, worth 870,000 baht, according to a local newspaper. |
